Multiple trade professionals required to join the award winning Breyer Group across our various Response Maintenance Contracts within London, Kent and Essex:

Locations Covered: London, Kent and Havering
Transport: A Fuelled Van will be provided for business use
Contract: Permanent, full time with potential `On Call’ requirements
Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Successful candidates will demonstrate a solid primary skill background (Carpenter/Plumber/Wet Trades) within a social housing environment in addition to acting in multi trade professional capacity. Each candidate will be organised and efficient in carrying out multiple calls per day, whilst ensuring a high level of customer service is provided at all times.

Main Duties:

  1. Day to day management of workload
  2. Ensure all works are carried out safely and to an excellent standard
  3. Updating PDA devices with work schedules and other key information
  4. To maintain the Breyer Group corporate image and service standards
  5. Be able to communicate with residents Face to Face in a friendly and professional manner.

Person Specification:

  1. Asbestos Awareness Training (preferred but not essential - training will be provided)
  2. Minimum level 2 City & Guilds/NVQ trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
  3. Full UK driving License (Essential)

Knowledge and Experience:

  1. Experience within the responsive maintenance environment
  2. Solid experience in carpentry and other multi maintenance trades. This could include: tiling, plumbing, plastering etc.
  3. Ability to operate a PDA device
  4. Excellent verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  5. Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  6. Basic understanding of schedule of rates
  7. Ability to communicate with management
  8. Knowledge of the London Area
