Music Teacher - South London
Required: September 2017
Pay Scale: Inner London Pay Scale, M1-M6
One of our mixed state schools in South London are currently seeking an enthusiastic Music Teacher to fill a permanent position they’ve had come available for September 2017. The school is based in the borough of Greenwich and has great transport connections, as well as a rich and distinguished history as one of the oldest state schools in London.
Working at this school would be a great opportunity for any teacher who is looking for a school with character - their form sizes are small to help them maintain their warm, friendly and caring atmosphere, and this environment carries through every area of the school. They believe in a strong relationship between students, staff and parents, and know that this can be done by supporting their staff to be the best teachers they can be. There are great CPD opportunities within the school which can help you to excel in your subject field, and share experiences with fellow teachers which will further increase your abilities to get the best out of your students.
They are welcoming applications from all experienced or NQT Music teachers with great behaviour management and the ability to inspire students, to join them in September 2017.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified Music teacher (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B'ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS).
- Demonstrate recent experience as a Music teacher.
- Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high.
- Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies.
