Our client are a market leading & very well known Building Services Group who are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to run a challenging and demanding London Borough Council contract in South London

As Contracts Manager you will take full responsibility for leading operational delivery in accordance with contractual obligations & objectives on Commercial, Residential & Public Sector buildings & premises.

The Role:

*Oversee Maintenance, Servicing & Repair activities on site including mechanical & electrical Reactive duties (as well as some ppm), fabric refurbishments & improvements, maintaining power and lighting systems, mechanical & plumbing systems, heating & ventilation systems and air conditioning systems

*You will coordinate resources & materials in accordance with on-site activities to ensure timely delivery and availability for in-house engineers

*You will manage, analyse & coordinate the full program of M & E Maintenance & Servicing works ensuring close monitoring & supervision of all subcontractors & direct labour on site whilst ensuring strict health & safety procedures are adhered to at all times

*You will demonstrate excellent problem solving skills as & when issues or challenges arise

*You will be the main point of contact with client representatives, consultants & third party stakeholders ensuring communication flow & sharing of data is accurate, timely & updated effectively & efficiently

*You will sustain smooth delivery of works to the client & ensure all site service providers are well informed with the most up to date information

*You will attend regular update & progress meetings with the client, commercial teams & your line manager & update manual systems & IT systems in accordance with company procedures


You will need to have relevant Building Services Engineering Qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC or degree) together with SMSTS, First Aid Certificate & IOSH or NEBOSH

Normal working hours will be Monday to Friday 40 hours per week & there will be overtime available should you choose to take advantage of it
