About the School - Teacher of the Deaf - Haringey, North London
Located in Haringey, North London this exceptional SEN School has worked with children who are deaf for the past 20 years. They are an Ofsted 'Outstanding' School and have state of the art provision to ensure their students make excellent progress in all areas. Currently the school focuses Primary aged children but over the coming years will be expanding into secondary. They are keen to give as many deaf children in the local area the opportunity to receive a first-class education and from September are looking to appoint a new teacher on a permanent basis. The class the new teacher will be responsible for is open to negotiation and will have a maximum of 6 children, grouped in ability rather than age. The school has leading provision, expertise and facilities plus the incoming teacher will be given excellent support, development, and an opportunity to progress their career.

About the Role - Teacher of the Deaf - Haringey, North London
The school is looking for a teacher with Qualified Teacher Status and Primary School teaching experience in either a mainstream or SEN setting. The teacher will need to hold British Sign Language level 2 and ideally a Teacher of the Deaf qualification although this is not essential and the opportunity to study for this could be offered to the successful candidate. This is a small friendly SEN School that is looking for a caring, compassionate teacher who is happy to deal with the highs and lows working in an SEN School brings.
