Our client is a leading global natural and built asset design and consultancy organisation working in partnership with their clients to deliver exceptional and sustainable outcomes through the application of design, consultancy, engineering, project and management services.

Due to growth they are seeking an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to join their busy and vibrant surveying team in their London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join a global leader working with clients across multiple sectors both in the private and public sector.

Chartered Building Surveyor

Responsibilities:-

-Provide technical and professional advice to clients or internal stakeholders relating to the Building Surveying scope of services, which will include:
Design and specification
Contract administration
Party wall matters
Dilapidations
Historic building conservation
-Technical due diligence (TDD) and surveys, including for pre-acquisition, stock condition, validation and building defect/pathology purposes
-Take responsibility for the delivery of projects (generally £100K - £2M) and professional assignments and/or support the senior colleagues in the delivery of larger projects / assignments
-Assist with the development of Building Surveying services, responding to market opportunities
-From time to time you may act as an APC Candidate's Supervisor

Education, Skills and Experience:-

-BSc Building Surveying
-Member of the Royal Chartered Institute of Surveyors
-Good knowledge of both traditional and modern building construction technology and techniques
-Proven track record as a professional Building Surveyor
-Experience in property and refurbishment and maintenance
-Experience of leading challenging projects
-Able to work independently as well as part of a team
-Able to build strong working relationships internally and externally
-Commercially aware
