AcceptFusion are recruiting on behalf of a nation rolling stock refurbishment firm that are currently searching for multiple contractual members of staff in their electrical mods and test bay. This person will be qualified in an electrical discipline, and be able to display the ability to be able to test the continuity of wiring harnesses on multi car units of rolling stock as well as various other pieces of electrical utility that could be along a train carriage such as lighting etc.

The role will involve testing the continuity of wiring circuits and electrical components on various different models of trains often with differing circuit set ups. Experience of various units would be a benefit as this will mean less training may need to be given. Using oscilloscopes, megas, multi-meters and other such instruments to test various areas of trains and test components alike to make sure that they are functioning in the correct manner.

You MUST be able to read electrical wiring diagrams and schematics to be able to complete this role. See attached sample schematic.

Hourly rate will be £15.91p/h on days (plus 20% for afters and 30% for nights)

These rates are based on a three shift rota basis, working to 37 hour standard weeks Monday to Friday. Some overtime will be available at weekends and during the week. These are paid at time and a third in the week, time and a half on Saturday and double time on Sundays.

We are looking ideally for a rolling stock experienced candidate however would be prepared to look at someone that has heavy engineering background, military/avionics or aerospace industry experience
