Chefs Direct are looking to recruit a head chef for a client based in the Wareham area of Dorset. This well regarded hotel is currently undergoing a considerable redevelopment of it’s food offering and as a result they require an experienced and ambitious head chef to assist them implementing their vision. The project will involve managing the transition from it’s current style to a more contemporary offer, while servicing the hotel’s existing, loyal clientele. The kitchen regularly serves 100+ covers over breakfast, lunch and dinner, so any applicant must have experience of dealing with quality food at volume. To be considered for this role you MUST:
- Have at least 12 months experience in a head chef capacity.
- Be able to produce cuisine at a minimum of 1 rosette level.
- Have experience of running high volume operations.
- Have a CV that reflects longevity with previous employers.
The salary on offer is £35000 and a high standard of accommodation can be provided.
