The Client:

Best in Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-established company in the materials handling industry. Offering a wide variety of service solutions to their clients, they’ve experienced on-going growth and now require a Field Service Engineer.

The Role:

The role is field-based from home, visiting clients across the southern region of the UK.

- To attend customer sites (no out of hours call outs)
- To liaise with customers
- To commission and service hydraulic lift truck attachments
- To install camera systems on trucks
- To install hydraulic weighing systems
- To fit other lift truck ancillary products
- No callouts or out of hours/weekend work

The Candidate for Field Service Engineer:

Experienced in mechanical, hydraulic and DC electrics for the commissioning and servicing of hydraulic lift truck attachments; installation of camera systems, weighing systems and ancillary products to customers fork lift trucks.

- Will have experience with Mechanical Hydraulics
- Will have experience with electrics (DC preferable)
- Will have experience of field servicing and repair (mobile)
- Will be a time-served or Qualified Engineer – City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3
- Will have Excellent communication skills
- Will flexible and able to work to deadlines
- Will have excellent problem-solving skills
- Will have a full clean UK driving licence
- Will reside in the M4, M40, A34 triangle
