Our client is a recognised industry leader in the independent research of financial products. They focus on providing intelligence to support better decision-making for its clients. They are also one of the best employers to work for in the area!
Their Business Analysts are involved in the full product lifecycle from project discovery, idea development through to requirements gathering and software release. In this role, you`ll have the satisfaction of contributing to and influencing the development of tools and applications utilised by some of the biggest names in the UK financial services industry.

They are currently looking for someone to join their team to cover maternity leave for a period of 18 months from September 2017 to March 2019.

You`ll take the concepts agreed by their product steering group; identify, analyse and document the detailed requirements; then work collaboratively with the development team to ensure the delivery of robust software to meet business and customer needs - all within an agile development environment.

They are looking for someone with a proven track record as a successful Business Analyst within a web software development environment. In particular, you will need to demonstrate user interface design/user experience skills, creating wireframes to help solidify the application workflow and design key user interactions. You will also need to have experience creating user stories with testable acceptance criteria to help deliver right, first-time-functional enhancements.

The successful candidate will be independent and proactive - a results-focused individual who takes ownership for getting things done. At the same time, they will have a positive and collaborative approach to working with a wide range of people across the business. Any experience within Financial Services would by highly desirable, but if not then you'll need the interest and willingness to learn about the industry.

Due to the complex nature of the functionality you will be specifying, it`s essential that you have a good level of education. Ideally you will have a technical degree, or at least A-levels plus professional training/qualifications. You need to good written and spoken English and be highly numerate.
In return, they offer an interesting and challenging role in a flexible and collaborative work environment, based at their HQ in Haddenham, near Aylesbury, in Buckinghamshire. Our client actively encourages a great balance between work life and home life and supports employees in pursuing this.

The salary for this role is £40-45k, dependent upon skills, knowledge and experience and you`ll also benefit from a generous pension scheme, comprehensive insurance package (including life, critical illness, private medical and dental) and a gym membership subsidy. This is a full time, permanent position.

Please apply with your CV and covering letter. Our client requires candidates to complete a shortlisting questionnaire. This will be sent back to you once you apply. You must have the right to work in the UK. Our client is unable to offer VISA sponsorship.
