Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join them and become part of their award winning team.

The workload is fast-paced, but the atmosphere is fun.

The Business Development Manager will use their long list of travel trade contacts to start conversations about insurance requirements and open the door to new opportunities.

You will be part of the growing Insurance team and play a part in their mission to build awesome relationships with their 12,000 partners, looking for every opportunity to grow bookings and profit.

You’ll have a proven track record of delivering new business within the Leisure and Business Travel industry using your commercial know how and keen eye for data to spot new opportunities for growth.

You don’t necessarily need to have experience working within the travel insurance sector, but you should have several years experience as a Business Development Manager within the travel trade and experience driving sales.

You will be responsible for the delivery of the overall new business budget, with your performance being measured against the gross profit you generate.This is a market that we have only scratched the surface of, so the potential for a strong Business Development professional is huge! You can be guaranteed that no two days will be the same.

You must have strong numeracy and communication skills plus a flexible, pragmatic approach; along with a passion for growing business within a demanding and fast paced environment.

This role also requires you to have the ability to travel within the UK and overseas in order to attend conferences and industry events.
