An established local organisation with a nationwide presence is seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their busy and friendly accounts team
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will manage the efficient running of the purchase ledger function with key duties including: processing, coding and matching of invoices; statement reconciliations; payment runs; resolving supplier queries; database maintenance; and managing and reconciling petty cash.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be have a successful track record in an accounts ledger role combined with a high degree of accuracy and excellent attention to detail. An ability to learn new systems combined a confident basic knowledge of Excel will be pivotal. A understanding of double entry bookkeeping would be advantageous.
