My client a fantastic organisation working within the Motor Claims sphere are seeking a Counter Fraud Analyst to join their team.

The role:

• To provide a role geared towards achieving optimum performance of anti-fraud controls and management

• To help validate the fraudulent claims and policies by using a variety of electronic fraud detection software

• To report fraudulent claims to counter fraud agencies

• Review exposure in fraud rings and provide support to the Claims Validation Team under supervision

• Analysis of differing book of business to identify risk and provide feedback to underwriters

• To ensure all intelligence handling and reporting is compliant

• Participate in training programmes centred around insurance and counter fraud

• Where applicable, to adhere to Company processes and ensure that DPA, FCA, TCF and other related regulatory requirements are met

• Tactical investigations for general insurance both fraudulent and general claims and/or policies

• Leading and conducting intelligence investigations using an all source approach

• Handling, analysing and evaluating highly confidential datasets and documents

• To deliver a usable intelligence based product to reduce claim losses • Contribute to the continued improvements of the investigative intelligence products & output

The person:

• Knowledge of claims best practice, particularly in relation to effective cost/leakage control, quality, training and compliance

• Experience in using fraud detection software and intelligence analysis software including i2 Analyst Notebook

• Proficient and demonstrable expertise in OSINT and HUMINT methodologies and tradecraft

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Effective Communication skills

Essential

• Experience in Intelligence or Counter Fraud Investigations

• Knowledge of organised fraud ring procedures and electronic fraud detection software capabilities

Preferred

• Minimum of 2 years in Intelligence or Counter Fraud Investigations

• Proven track record of handling organised fraud rings with an in-depth understanding of electronic fraud detection software
