Utilities Construction Scheduling Team Leader

Are you an experienced project Team Leader from a construction or technical background, looking for a long term contract role within a leading Utilities company with competitive salary and excellent benefits?

My client are a large and growing company within the Utilities Sector, and as such are looking for an experienced Team Leader from a construction background to support the office manager in the day to day operation of the company.

You will be responsible for the management of Regional Schedulers, ensuring work is carried out within timescales, preparing month and year end accounts, set and report on KPIs and liaise with other teams on a day to day basis, ensuring high levels of performance and productivity.

Employees will be provided with in-house training from technical experts and will be provided with opportunities and experience to further enhance their skills and knowledge.

This position is focused on work within the construction department, ensuring work projects are planned and scheduled effectively.

This position would suit someone looking for a Supervisory/ Managerial role within the Utilities Industry with a technical background

The Role:

- Support the Construction Office Manager in day to day operations
- First line management of direct report Regional Schedule
- Dealing with Project queries
- Assist the business in ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively in their day to day duties

To Person:

- Previous experience in scheduling or logistics and working in an office environment is desirable
- Ability to manage a small team
- Experience in a construction or technical environment
- IT literacy with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
