Job Title: Payroll and HR Administrator (Fractional)
Location: South Croydon, Surrey 
Salary: £11,051 - £11,703 per annum (Fractional 0.5 FTE)
Hours: 0.5 FTE - 18 hours per week
Monday: 8:30am - 1:00pm
Tuesday to Friday: 8:30am to 12:00pm
Duration: Permanent 

Our REED Education FE branch are currently working with a great college on an exciting new role in the South Croydon area. 

Starting immediately, the college are looking for an outstanding Payroll and HR Administrator to join them on a permanent basis. 

The College:

Staff and students of our client are once again continuing the successful trend of recent years and are currently celebrating an outstanding 100% pass rate at Level 3 with over 83% of students achieving high grades in their BTEC qualifications (equivalent to A* to B across 3 A Levels). The College is also celebrating its first set of A Level results for several years, demonstrating an amazing 100% pass rate.

The Role:

· Provide administrative support to Human Resources Department by undertaking HR, payroll and administrative duties, and ensuring the remit of the Human Resource department is efficiently delivered.
· To process the college payroll and pension administration
Work within the Human Resources department undertaking HR administrative, payroll and pension duties to ensure that processes and systems are completed to a high standard.
· To ensure that the monthly payroll is processed within the required time frame.
· Liaise with the payroll bureau and staff with matters relating to payroll, dealing with matters liaised in a timely manner.
· Ensure that all pension administration, including auto enrolment processes is carried out in a timely manner. Including assisting with yearend reporting. Liaise with pension providers and staff and dealing with matters raised.
· Prepare and process Leavers documentation and final calculations for payroll. Carry out exit interviews
· Prepare and process spine point increases and documentation in a timely manner meeting payroll deadline.

What you will need:

· Level 2 in Maths, English and IT 
· Experience in payroll and pension administration and processing 
· Previous experience working in an HR environment 
· Strong IT skills including experience of using HR databases. Word processing and spreadsheet skills to intermediate level
· Proficient Administrative skills, ability to draft own correspondence; take minutes;priorities own workload and using own initiative.
· Interpersonal and communication skills of a high order which are applicable to a range of colleagues, partners and of clients and of use in front of house in meeting and receiving clients and guests of the organisation.
