Architectural Assistant Part I - Hampshire

My client are a well established team of architects and technologists specialising in classical design and has become a pioneer in contextual urban design. World-renowned for master planning, commercial development, residential new build and the design of high quality urban and country houses.

Their success is due to the commitment of its team through building of strong relationships with their clients, local authorities and through the Company's involvement with the local community.

They are currently seeking a Part I Architectural Assistant to join their busy office in Hampshire. You should be enthusiastic, inventive, energetic and have excellent design and visualization skills.

Working in a small but ambitious team you will be involved in a variety of exciting projects. The role will primarily involve the preparation of feasibility schemes and assisting with planning drawings but there will also be opportunities to assist with the construction stages of a project and attend client meetings/visit site.

The successful candidate will be expected to be:

* proficient in ArchiCAD with good hand drawing skills
* motivated and proactive with good organisational and communication skills
* ability to work efficiently as part of a team or independently
* An understanding of traditional, vernacular and classical design is also an advantage.
* UK experience required
