Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant to work within a National Charity, the role will be based in Grantham but will require regular travel.

The role is available due to internal promotion and to be successful you must be flexible, motivated and experienced. The charity has a strategic growth plan, therefore this role will grow as the organisation grows.

The culture of the organisation is informal and collaborative and to be successful you will need to be comfortable working in this kind of environment. As well as possessing the required technical skillset, you will also be required to get involved in the organisations charitable activities outside of normal work commitments.

You will need to be able to respond in an environment where financial decisions are taken with the organisation's wider charitable objectives and activities to the fore and rather than profit being the aim.

The main responsibilities of the role will include -
- Analysis and interpretation of management accounts.
- Focus around improving the quality of financial information going to board.
- Relationship building with senior stakeholders including; board members, service directors, quality care commission, banks and investors.
- Group reporting to Head Office.
- Management of an Assistant Management Accountant.
- Support with statutory accounts.
- Costing, pricing and modelling.
- Support with prepayments and accruals.
- Support with external audit.

You will need to be ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent qualified and have good interpersonal skills and be able to build working relationships with a diverse range of people and have the drive and ambition to work with the management team in competitive market.
