TM Resourcing are currently recruiting for an Account Clerk for our client based in Huddersfield.

The working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday,

The salary is between £17,000 to £20,000 depending on experience.

We are looking for an Accounts Clerk to join an expanding finance department to assist in providing accurate financial data on the Company's profitability and operational performance in the Business.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with sales invoices ensuring that they are registered and processed and that cash is allocated on a timely basis to ensure the sales ledger is properly maintained and up to date.

You would have primary responsibility for an account and will provide back up for the other UK/Ireland companies, and will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming invoices are registered, processed and distributed for authorisation, which will require working to deadlines.

Experience of producing reports would be beneficial in this role.

The candidate will have customer contact and will be responsible for dealing with queries, collection of debt and reconciliation of accounts. The candidate will be dealing with supplier's payment queries along with foreign VAT claims, petty cash returns and bank and cashbook reconciliations.

Essential Experience:

* Working in accounts payable (AP) team.
* Working with foreign currencies and be comfortable dealing with foreign exchange and converting between currencies.
* Experience of credit control, bank reconciliations and cash book.
* Good level of computer literacy, able to use a number of Microsoft applications including word and excel. Needs to have experience of using accounting software as part of AP duties.
* Work in fast paced business with strong teamwork and ability to build collaborative relationships with customers and suppliers.
* Strong organisational skills with methodical approach
