Premium Credit is the leading insurance premium finance company in the UK and Ireland. As part of efforts to bring our development back in-house, we are now looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join our growing Digital Support Team.

As the Senior .NET Developer, you’ll lead our Digital Support Team and ensure the architectural integrity, capability and performance of our systems.

Motivating and guiding a team of Developers, you’ll develop, enhance and support Premium Credit’s systems. You’ll ensure that all changes to production environments are effectively controlled and your team operate in-line with our standards and procedures.

You’ll work with the Scrum Master and Platform Leader to determine accurate project, test, implementation and support plans, ensuring that work is carried out in a structured manner.

Additionally, your day-to-day will include:

- Working with colleagues to ensure that technical designs are forward-thinking, cost effective and aligned with business needs
- Analysing, understanding and documenting business requirements
- Ensuring that any issues are swiftly identified and resolved
- Supporting regression, acceptance, implementation, recovery and contingency testing
- Participating in an on-call rota to support our systems

Interested? To be considered, you will need experience of the following:

- OO application development in a .NET Web Services SOA environment
- Working in a support team, co-ordinating daily support activities, managing an on-call rota within the team and managing a backlog of changes across a platform of applications
- Transactional and e-business based applications
- Working on MS .NET based applications in C# and SQL Server
- Taking a lead role within a Scrum based model, supporting a number of junior developers
- Working across the full development cycle, including design, build implementation and support
- Using CI tools to implement automated builds and deployments
- Automated testing tools, such as Nunit

Our dream Senior .NET Developer will also have experience of developing on CMS tools, such as Sitecore. Experience of using TFS for task management, Source Control and CI would also be an advantage.
