This firm is very well known in the area and is one of the oldest Law firms in Brighton & Hove.
They offer flexible working and would ideally be looking for someone to do a minimum of 21 hours per week, on a fixed term 12 month contract with the potential to turn it into a permanent position. Their family team is based across our Brighton and Southwick offices, and this role is intended to be based in Brighton.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years PQE but they would consider applications from those with less PQE but with strong, relevant experience.
The role will involve a range of matters so a good knowledge of divorce and financial proceedings is important, along with private Children's Act proceedings. Some knowledge of co-habitation is also preferred. However, being commercially minded with great networking skills is a must!

  • You will be a Family Solicitor with at least three years PQE (there is no upper limit on the amount of experience, I would urge even the most experienced of candidates to apply)
  • You should have a strong background of dealing with privately funded work
  • A meticulous eye for detail is essential
  • You should have a real passion for family work, with excellent communication skills
