NPS Property Consultants are seeking to appoint an experienced Bid Writer to join their established team. The successful candidate would ideally be based in our Head Office in Norwich, however this is a role that can be conducted remotely and we are therefore flexible on the location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, creation and delivery of creative, detailed and effective bids, tenders and proposals, ensuring that all NPS Group bid documentation is clear, concise and crucially compelling.

Role profile:

  • Communication skills are paramount within this position as you are expected to liaise with internal and external stakeholders as well as operational directors and senior technical leads within the business, in order to gain insight and content for the bid process.

  • You will be expected to take ownership and responsibility of all technical content throughout the duration of the bid whilst creating high quality technically accurate responses.

  • You will create content through the bid process that can be utilised across multiple channels including internal communications and external marketing.

  • Key development area for this position will be training and coaching other members of the team; bringing fresh ideas to the department and identifying opportunities for improvement and development.

Person Specification:

  • As the ideal candidate, you will have a proactive and independent mind-set towards working remotely and on individual projects.

  • A keen eye for detail, understanding market trends and pricing strategies is key to the role.

  • Whilst this role can be worked remotely, you must be prepared and able to travel in order to meet with technical leads as well as their own team.

  • As the successful individual, you will be joining a team who work collaboratively on a range of projects across all levels and must therefore have the ability to both delegate and take direction from your own team.

In return, NPS offers a wide range of benefits including generous remuneration, excellent working conditions, training and development as well as flexible working and 25+ days holiday allowance.

NPS aims for our employees to be truly representative of our society and welcomes applications from all sections of our communities. We are wholly committed to employment practices and behaviours which encourage diversity, promote equality of treatment and eliminate unlawful and or unfair discrimination.
