Waking Nights Support worker - Liskeard, Cornwall

In Liskeard we currently support one lady to keep her safe, happy and healthy. She is severely epileptic and at risk of SUDEP (Sudden Death in Epilepsy). We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic support worker who has a high standard of cleanliness and can support them to access their local community.
Things you may need to support with:
- Medicine administration and management
- Assisting to prepare and cook healthy meals
- Helping with finances
- General domestic duties
Attached is a personal profile on the lady you will be supporting. Some activities she enjoys are; sewing, beading, shopping, going on the train and much more.
Key skills and experience:
- Knowledge and understanding of learning disability is desirable
- Driving licence is not required for this role, but is desirable
The role is covered by working 2 nights on and 4 nights off which may occasionally mean that 3 shifts will be worked in one week.
