Bistrot Pierre prepares, cooks and serves provincial French dishes using fresh and seasonal ingredients and regularly changing menus.
We are looking to recruit for them an enthusiastic, helpful and committed Sous Chef - who wants to learn, is ambitious and has a sense of hard work and fun.
They are fast becoming a leading branded restaurant chain, currently they have a portfolio of 17 restaurants nationally, with ambitious plans for expansion, creating plenty of opportunity for career progression for those who seek to continue to grow their skills and position within the company.
Ideally you will have some branded restaurant experience, but this is desirable rather than essential. If not, you definitely must have experience of working in a good hotel or restaurant environment. An NVQ Level 2 qualification is also desired but not essential. Full training is given and experience is important but what is more important to us is enthusiasm and a desire to learn and improve. Most importantly, you will enjoy working with and maintaining a high level of energy, as this will be a very fast paced kitchen environment.
