You will be working for a well established company in the SME space who manage a number of high value projects across the UK from their head offices in Woking, Surrey.
Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for taking on the Management of the finance department on a day to day basis, supporting the development of 2 accounts assistants as well as preparing monthly management accounts, commentary, variance analysis as well as balance sheet and cash management. Working closely with senior managers, you will business partner and provide value add management reports to aid decision making. In addition, you will also be supporting the head of finance with long term strategic planning.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent), you will ideally have a broad level of experience across management accounts, analysis and team management. This is a great stepping stone if you are looking for your next move to grow your career in a busy hands on role.
