Are you an experienced Service Technician looking for an opportunity join a leading international engineering company renowned for what they do? Would you be happy to travel globally to provide service to customers and represent your company with credibility and professionalism?

Our Gloucestershire based Engineering client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible to carry out repairs to out of base at customers locations in the EMEA/CIS regions.
* Holding a company stamp to sign off own work.
* Coordinate and respond to urgent customers requests whilst on site and out of hours.
* Assist in the repair, test and overhaul of products
* Representing the company in front of the customer, ensuring effective communication and professionalism
* Ability to dis-assembly, assembly and test complex products
* Provision, control and maintain specialised tooling for out of base requirements.
* Carry out liaison meetings supporting customer service teams.

Personal Specification:

* Engineering Apprenticeship, plus 3 years relevant experience
* Ability to interpret Component Maintenance Manuals, Technical Drawings & instructions.
* High level of dexterity with attention for detail.
* Ability to use a variety of hand tools including precision measuring equipment.
* Understanding of electrical circuits.
* Able to travel at short notice to worldwide destinations, with no restrictions.
* Human Factors, risk management, working at height experience.
* Excellent problem solver with root cause analyses skills.
* Self-managing.
* Be able to communication at all levels.
* Efficient in computer skills.
* High levels of flexibility and integrity.
