Opportunity to work DAYS (Monday - Friday) with a leading global manufacturing company, who have been established since the 1950s. A truly innovative organisation who have been responsible for a substantial number "firsts" within their industry. Active in several continents, with more than 20 locations globally. Ideal for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician with a heavy industrial background.

Working Days, Monday - Friday

As the electrical maintenance technician, you will work closely with an electrical engineer and will play a key part in managing the preventive / predictive maintenance program. You will also be involved with the day-to-day safety, process reliability and equipment availability.

As the Electrical Maintenance Technician, your duties will include:

* Responsibly for increasing the mean time between failures.
* Carrying out routine preventative and reactive maintenance.
* Coordinating availability of equipment in line with the maintenance plan and identifying short falls in labour and/or materials.
* Conducting daily checks in the designated area.
* Identifying critical spares to maintain up to date stock levels and ensure availability for planned maintenance.
* Developing and updating procedures for operations and engineering, implementing a system for process checks.
* Proactively identifying faults to equipment.
* Mentoring of engineering apprentices.

To be a successful Electrical Maintenance Technician you will have the following skills and experience:

* Must have completed a recognised time served apprenticeship within a manufacturing environment
* Experience within a heavy industrial environment is highly desirable.
* Ideally educated to HNC level or above.

In return, the Electrical Maintenance Technician will receive a salary of £30,000 - £34,900 in addition to quarterly bonuses, 8% matched pension along with other benefits.
