The Position

Applications are invited for a Gutroom Supervisor on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday - Thursday, 48 hours per week.

Supervising an existing team of approximately 16 production operatives, you will oversee day-to-day Gutroom operation; ensuring high standards of production and finished product quality are maintained at all times.

The successful candidate will be required to maintain good levels of employee engagement within the team and liaise with the Gutroom Manager to ensure operational continuity. There will be a requirement to assist with generation of management reports and to analyse data with regards to production processes and outputs, as required.

The Person

- Experience of production processes, preferably within the meat processing/production industry.
- Good levels of written and verbal communication
- IT literate including use of Internet and Email, with confidence in Microsoft packages; specifically Word and Excel.
- People management experience, ideally at Team Leader level or above, including familiarity with basic personnel issues
- Ability to work autonomously and flexibly, as required.
- Awareness of Health and Safety legislation and its application within the workplace; specifically a factory environment

Salary: £432 per week plus attendance bonus
