You will work efficiently as part of a team and as directed by the Team Leader in order to clean and restock aircraft to a high standard as well as conducting thorough security checks of the aircraft.

Your main responsibilities will be:
• Vacuuming carpets and wiping down equipment/ surfaces
• Cleaning kitchen/ galley areas using the appropriate cleaning agents
• Removing and disposing of aircraft rubbish appropriately
• Security checking the aircraft, reporting any prohibited items accordingly

To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Previous cleaning experience
• The ability to work under pressure
• The ability to work as part of the team
• The ability to carry heavy loads and climb stairs

At the moment we require 15 staff but that may change depending on the company needs. You will be required to work 8.5 Hours per day on a shift pattern of 4 days on 2 days off the earliest start time is 5am. You shift pattern would consists of two earlies then two lates. The will be opportunities to work extra hours as they arise.

To pass customer and aviation security requirements you will also need:
• Fully checkable, five-year employment history or back to education history
• To have the right to work in the UK, Valid Passport required
• To be able to obtain Counter Terrorism (CTC) and Criminal Record clearance.
You should have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years

Due to the hours of working, all applicants must be over 18 years of age.

Requirements:
• Previous work experience as a cleaner an advantage
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (COSHH)
• Understanding Health and Safety regulations
• Used to working as part of a team
• Used to working to deadlines

Health, safety and security are essential and you must be able to actively respond to both verbal instructions and audible warning devices
