A Nursery Nurse Job in Bristol to work in a home from home nursery in the pre-school room
Your new company
You will be working in a renovated house that provides a home from home feel for the children age 2-5 years old. The nursery has open planned rooms with very natural materials and toys for the children to enjoy which will encourage them to use their imagination and creativity. Fortunately the nursery has extensive garden space, which allows the toddlers and pre-school to have their separate garden space but also can open out to have it mixed age which encourages more social interaction.
Your new role
You will be a nursery practitioner in the pre-school room where you will be a key person who involves things such as planning activities which is supported by the EYFS, meet and greet parent and complete learning diaries. You will need to be able to support the pre-school room to continually improve which involves bringing creative ideas to enhance the children's learning.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be level 3 qualified in childcare with referenceable experience, whether this is through placements or employment in the past 2 years. You need to have a strong knowledge of the EYFS and be able to display this throughout interview and activities you plan.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £17,200 and be offered the training and support to settle into the role and continue to develop your practise. You will receive 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. The nursery is continually focusing on staff development to ensure that you are gaining skills to further your career in early years.
