Control Panel Wireman
Our Kent based client is a leading independent BEMS specialist. They have a new panel work shop and are looking to hire an experienced Control Panel Wireman.
As part of the role you would be expected to:
Receive work instructions including job technical details, program and materials from the Workshop Manager and raise immediately any item that may effect satisfactory completion of the work.
Prepare and organise the panel manufacture following agreed and established procedures and methods such as terminal numbering, wire numbering and panel layout.
Seek advice, when required, regarding any aspect of panel manufacture from the Workshop Manager at any stage during construction.
After manufacture, fully prepare the control panel and carry out any necessary inspection procedures before passing the control panel to the test department.
Liaise with the Workshop Manager and Project Engineers to produce an accurate and clear draft of the "as manufactured" control panel drawings.
Take instructions from the test department and carry out any remedial work required.
At all times generally assist to keep and operate a clean, tidy and well organised workshop facility.
Display all the necessary knowledge in those technical areas as required to carry out the "Primary Objective".
Undergo training as required by the company and demonstrate the necessary ability to learn.
Operate and keep up to date all systems of filing and recording, including accurate times / job costing sheets, as required by company procedures and as necessary to efficiently carry out the "Primary Objective".
Maintain good communication with all work colleagues with whom you must have contact to achieve the "Primary Objective".
Efficiently manage your time to achieve maximum results and avoid delays.
Understand, and operate within, the company authority structure.
