Job Overview: On behalf of our client, a successful Manufacturer, we are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Control Technician. EXPIRES 20/08/17

The role of the Quality Control Technician will be to ensure the Company adheres to the stated requirements according to its quality management system BS EN ISO 9001 and the day to day running of laboratory facilities to support the requirements of the company and its customers

This role is working a continental shift pattern. Days and nights, 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts.

• Performance testing of current products, to ensure adherence to specification.
• Measurement analysis using all facilities available and transferring data to spreadsheets.
• Start of Production run sign off.
• Visual Inspections
• Gauging
• Functional Testing
• Liaising with Production team

The ideal candidate:
• Educated to G.C.S.E standard in Maths & English.
• To have a sound logical approach with regard to observation and problem solving.
• Have excellent attention to detail skills.
• To be able to listen to, and communicate with colleagues when under pressure.
• Conversant with Microsoft packages.
• Work effectively in a team

• Knowledge of BRC auditing would be advantageous but not essential.
• To have experience of ISO 9001 quality management system requirements and to have worked within the criteria.
• Relevant Engineering qualification
