Corporate Insurance Manager
To perform the role of Corporate Insurance Manager including leading the process with insurance brokers on annual renewal of insurance, liaising with insurers/brokers on claims and any notifiable events, undertaking a process to appoint brokers at least every three years and also liaising with operational risk and line executives to ensure that insurance is appropriately mitigating risk and that it is cost effective. Responsible for the Corporate Insurance Policy and presenting to Group Risk Committee and Operational Risk Committee together with any recommendations for change.
To act as Secretary to certain Board Committees/ Subsidiary Meetings, as delegated by the Group Secretary, and to be responsible for organising and minute taking for meetings.
Skills / Knowledge
Experience with working within the insurance sector, specifically understanding financial institution insurance requirements
Experience of developing effective insurance arrangements
Experience of producing appropriate MI
Experience of managing staff.
Effective minute taking skills
Knowledge of Insurance Principles and Law
