Role description

The Social Media Manager will be working for Big Ideas Group and associated companies and will be based in our London offices in Farringdon. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing allocation of internal and external resources across all campaigns ensuring the work is assigned to the right resource taking into account skill set and capacity.

The Package:

ü Salary dependent upon experience £30k - £32k

ü 22 days annual leave

ü 40 hours a week during standard business hours (Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm)

Duties will include:

§ Working with the CEO in developing the brand strategy and plan, and driving its delivery

§ Collaborating closely with relevant teams to ensure effective implementation and ongoing development of the overall brand plans and positioning

§ Create/manage production schedule for all campaigns/projects using Basecamp

§ Manage digital campaigns across various social media platforms, including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

§ Report and resolve resource conflicts

§ Responsible for the delivery of regular content across all marketing channels

§ Analysing and identifying the best target audience and devising effective digital marketing campaigns to drive quality views

§ Researching the competition and building relationships with partners for joint marketing initiatives

§ Work with Marketing and other key stakeholders on future forecasts of projects

§ Manage tasks logged through Samewave support system and Projects/Project Management through Basecamp;

§ Deliver monthly traffic and marketing reports through tubularlabs, likealyzer, socialbakers and Samewave systems

§ Copy writing, proofing and creating marketing materials

§ Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for key stakeholders through Basecamp, Brightgauge and Samewave

§ Mentoring junior staff and overseeing the activities of freelance contractors.

Who we're looking for

This role requires a strong focus on the delivery of good content and excellent project management skills. The successful candidate shall have an eye for detail, display excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, maintain a professional working attitude at all times and have a proactive approach to the client's requirements.? Responsible for the delivery of successfully executed social media campaigns.? The successful candidate will be fully accountable for certain areas of the marketing budget.

§ Great attention to detail and a passion for marketing

§ Proven ability in content management - at least 12 months.

§ Facebook Manager experience essential.

§ Experience of all MS Office packages. Advanced Excel skills, Basecamp and Google Analytics is essential

§ Ideally Google Adwords qualified.

§ Experience of Basecamp, Samewave and Social Media Campaign management tools is essential.

§ Able to manage in a dynamic environment with ongoing change.

§ Ability to work from Central London location and happy to travel.
