Our client is currently seeking a part-time concierge for a brand new luxury residential scheme in Bristol.
The working hours are Friday 0700 - 1900 and Saturday mornings 0800 - 1200. (16 hours)There will be overtime opportunites.
To effectively and professionally manage the development whilst providing a safe, secure, welcoming and well-maintained environment for the residents and visitors, leading to a full understanding of the building. This will include;
Manning the front desk from 0730 - 1000 and 1600 - 1830
To be available to residents and address any issues or concerns.
To patrol the building including the car park, bin and bike store and roof garden at the start, middle and end of the day.
Manage the access for services to the estate, such as refuse collection, deliveries, repairs and maintenance, utility companies, etc. Attend visiting contractors and service personnel.
Assisting in managing the access to individual apartments for contractors and service personnel.
Maintain the Building Log book to record service and maintenance visits and any incidents or issues
Ensure that keys are securely retained.
Receive parcels and package of a reasonable size and value (to be determined) provided that the resident has completed and signed an Indemnity Form and there is space to securely store the parcel.
Remove any dumped items or items blocking common areas.
Put out waste bins on collection day using the provide equipment.
Dealing with small emergencies with the assistance of Bloq Management.
Assist Bloq Management in ensuring that all health and safety requirements are adhered to.
Any additional tasks requested by the Line manager and undergo training as required.
The Concierge must be polite and courteous at all times, and wear uniform/suit provided and be clean and tidy in appearance.
No formal academic qualifications are required. However the ability to communicate in a clear and articulate manner, ensuring diplomacy and discretion where necessary, is essential.
Experience of working with the public is essential, ideally in a service related capacity along with some staff management capabilities.
