Oakleaf are proud to be partnering a leading retail business in Central London who is looking for a Payroll Officer to join the business on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Payroll Manager, your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Assist the Payroll Manager and Payroll Supervisor in maintaining the smooth running of the department
  • Process starters and leavers
  • Running and preparing reports for calculating payments and importing onto ADP
  • Ensuring float forms are sent to the relevant starter and transferred employees
  • Inputting bank and Tax Code changes as well as any other changes or data received in the Payroll Department
  • Preparing manual calculations
  • Preparing report for maternity calculation and importing onto ADP
  • Administration of child-care vouchers, season ticket loans and AEO

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • 2+ years’ experience within a payroll environment, ideally working with high volume payrolls.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written at all levels
  • Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • ADP Freedom would be advantageous but not essential
