Award Winning Architectural & Interior Design practice based near Shoreditch are looking to appoint a creative middle weight Interior Designer / Interior Architect to take projects from inception to completion.

Reporting into the Project Leader, you will be responsible for initial design development through construction documentation for high-end residential interiors, workplace interiors and/or hospitality interiors

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with in-house Base Build Architecture projects.
• Work from detailed sketches to produce computer generated construction drawings as well as diagrams, graphs, charts, and overlays.
• Conduct site visits and progress meetings.
• Review of submittals/cut sheets on materials, appliances, equipment and furnishings.
• Analyse sketches, notes, and other input material to determine best approaches for completion of drawings, space planning, and preparation of materials palette.
• Coordinate drawings with structural, civil, public health, electrical, mechanical, telecommunication, lighting, and acoustic consultants to incorporate engineering systems into architectural designs and secure client approval on plans, elevations and materials palette.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Interior Design, with coursework or curricular internships. Master’s degree in Architecture/Design in addition preferred.
• 4-8 Years’ relative job experience in interior workplace, hospitality and/or residential design as well as architecture.
• Experience in technical document preparation and field observation.
• Strong understanding of UK building regulations and approved documents. Knowledge of NBS specification a plus.
• Proficient in Revit a must, with experience in setting up Revit projects, producing sketches and creating technical documentation. Familiarity with Revit Schedules and Revit Family creation a plus.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam.
• Hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts.
