A small/ medium sized architecture practice are looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant to join their team near London Bridge on a permanent basis. They have recently won some new projects so are looking to add multiple people to their team.


The studio specialise in high-end residential, commercial and retail projects, so this is a great opportunity to work on a variety of projects within a close-knit and friendly office. You'll be working directly with the Directors from concept to completion, so they are looking for all-round candidates, who are comfortable working at all project stages. You'll be expected to get stuck in straight away, so previous experience at a Part II Architectural Assistant in the UK is essential.


Key requirements;
· Must be an experienced Part II Architectural Assistant, with at least 1 year post MArch,
· Strong working knowledge of ArchiCAD,
· Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup advantageous,
· Understanding of UK building regulations, with UK project experience,
· A passion for design,
· Able to work in a team as well as on your own initiative.


This practice have work on some of London's most prestigious and well known buildings, as well as overseas developments. They tend to work on renovation and refurbishment projects of Grade I & II listed buildings, so restoration experience is highly advantageous. However, they work on new build and have been involved in penthouses for some of the UK's most luxurious developments. They also carry out work overseas, for private clients.


This is an excellent chance to strengthen your skills, whilst working on varying projects to further develop your abilities. Salary will vary, depending on your experience, but it in line with RIBA Guidelines.


For this role it is essential that you have UK experience, due to the delicacy of some projects, and restoration of historic buildings. You must also have experience using ArchiCAD. Those with this software will gain preference over those without in the first instance.
