Activia is a leading IT, Technical and Business Skills provider across the UK, currently operating 11 sites and clients' premises. We work closely with our customers to provide solutions for their training needs whether it's ad-hoc or a fully managed training programme.

We are currently looking for an IT trainer to deliver our Microsoft Office courses to customers at our centres as well as on-site . We have developed courses for Office applications including Access, Excel and Project and aimed towards delegates from Introduction to Advanced levels. Applicants should have experience with these applications.

We are looking for a trainer who has commutable access to one of the following centres: Manchester, Nottingham or Birmingham

You will be an experienced, confident trainer with proven skills in training delivery, as well as the people skills necessary to motivate delegates and impress clients. You will also have an interest in, and a flair for, writing and developing course content and a desire to play a real part in developing our business on the professional, quality-driven basis we have created.

Training is, as you know, a varied and challenging (though rewarding) marketplace, and you need to have a flexible approach and genuine dedication to helping us to achieve total customer satisfaction. You will be a team player who can contribute to the atmosphere of excellence and success that we are building.

On occasional non-training days, you will be involved in the further enhancement of our courseware, writing content for selected website projects and assistance with the quality management of our centres.We expect a high degree of IT literacy and the ability to create professional, structured courseware without supervision. The candidate will:

- If you live in or easy commutable distance to one of the above centres
- You have experience delivering Microsoft Office applications to a classroom environment
- You have advanced experience using Excel, Access and Project
