Who you’ll work for
Reporting to the senior team you will be working for one of Kent and London’s top IT Support Companies who demonstrate a clear passion for their clients. Your day to day duties will include but not limited to -

As a Helpdesk Analyst Tier 1 Apprentice, your job includes:
• IT Support relating to technical issues involving Microsoft's core business applications such as Windows desktop and Office suite of products is essential with an understanding of Windows Server, Small Business Server, Exchange, Office 365, SQL, Terminal Services and networking an advantage.
• First line support for technical services at the network level (i.e., network connectivity, routers, firewalls, switches, security)
• Remote access solution implementation and support (i.e., VPN, Terminal Services, & Citrix)
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Systems review and documentation
• Defining and documenting standards for service desk technical service procedures
• The ability to manage problems and workloads
• The ability to escalate issues accurately and efficiently
• A methodical and structured approach to problem solving
What experience and skills do I need?

You’ll need at least five GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above including Maths, English and either IT or Science.

Therefore, you’ll have the following skills:

• A demonstrable hunger to work in IT and progress your career
• Writing and presentation skills are critical
You might also have (but don’t need):
• A strong understanding of relevant technologies, solutions, troubleshooting, & support

When you complete your programme, you'll have enough industry-recognised qualifications for a great career in IT. You'll be registered by the British Computer Society (BCS) to the Register of IT Technicians, confirming SFIA level 3 professional competence.
