Our client is an established multi-disciplinary construction and property consultancy operating on a broad based-business platform with a strong portfolio of work from both the public and private sector clients.

Their London office is seeking an ambitious Chartered MRICS Building Surveyor to join their team of professional surveyors. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently chartered Building Surveyor or experienced Surveyor to join a vibrant and busy team.

MRICS Building Surveyor - Private Residential Team


-Provide advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of all types of residential
-Carry out building and measured surveys
-Ensure buildings conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards
-Analyse and reports building defects
-Handling claims and negotiations with loss adjusters leading to the preparation of drawings and specifications for remedial work
-Prepare schedules of dilapidations (land and buildings)
-Provide advice in connection with planning applications, appeals, boundary disputes, government grants, conducting arbitrations and acting as an expert witness
-Supervision of building work on site

Education, Skills and Experience:-

-BSc Building Surveying
-Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors
-Experience from either private or public sectors
-Commercially aware
-Able to work efficiently and meet client deadlines
-Able to successfully build client relationships
-Excellent report writing skills
-Able to work independently as well as part of a team
