Portfolio Reporting Manager - Southampton, Hampshire - c£32,400 + Exceptional Package

We have a great opportunity for a Portfolio Reporting Manager to join our office in Southampton!


Manage Central Product & Discovery portfolio reporting processes through data management & report generation to enable the Leadership team to make decisions effectively and monitor progress against functional KPIs.
Maintaining strong relationships with functional stakeholders to understand scope of activities being tracked & ensure process adherence.
Support the Portfolio Planning Manager in process improvement activities by designing tools to deliver existing or new reports according to required specifications whilst connecting to established business processes and mechanisms.


Operational \ Professional \ Business
Design data capture tools & identify new methods to capture data used for Portfolio analysis.
Tools designed using existing IT programmes & systems (i.e. excel, nexus, etc.)
Data to be managed includes
Technical Resourcing
Project, Platform & Portfolio Status / Risks & Issues / Completion dates
Enabling Functions Forecast
Project initiation & closure
Resolve issues with data management & identify opportunities for streamlining without compromising data integrity
Monitor process adherence, effectiveness & on boarding of new team members
Provide support to Portfolio Manager to deliver the functional Portfolio Strategy

Essential requirements

Strong interpersonal skills - good, efficient communicator and negotiator; excellent English; good analytical capability;

Strong skills in planning and organisation with a strong drive for completion and task focused.
Good process development skills
Good understanding of project & portfolio management practices and techniques
Able to work across functions and grades
Innovative and pro-active.
Engage and influence at all levels of the organisation
Solid understanding of product development principles, core processes and systems
Experience of pragmatic problem solving
Knowledge of Microsoft office suite in particular excel & PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and activities that vary in complexity and priority
