My Client is the global market leader in material handling systems for airports, warehousing and parcel services. Working within the project operations team to deliver construction and complex automation projects into dynamic, evolving and challenging airport environments.

• Driving an incident & injury free culture and ensuring the project teams and subcontractors understand and implement good safety practice during the site delivery phases of the project
• Delivery of a projects Installation and commissioning phases within schedule
• Management of Installation and commissioning activities and equipment
• Installation and logistics planning
• Management of installation materials on site and ensuring their timely call off, inspection and delivery to the workface
• Management of on-site suppliers and sub-contractors
• On-site Health and Safety
• Site policing to drive compliance with defined standards regarding installation quality and safety
• Principal Contractor, 3rd Party and subcontractor liaison
• Sub-contract installation resource management and planning
• Creation of Installation documentation including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Lifting Plans and Task Briefings
• On-site Inspection and Testing
• Installation Quality and completion of snags
• Providing ‘Earned Value’ reporting input (progress reporting)
• Installation and Commissioning Progress and worked hours
• Site Problem Reports / Engineering Instructions & Error Cost Reports
• Quality Inspections
• Installation / Logistics planning and resource scheduling
• Inspection and Test Reports
• Benchmark Reports
• Action & Snag Lists
• Variation and Schedule Delay Reports
• Accident investigations
• Management of the Installation and commissioning phase to deliver within schedule and to budget
• Management of the Site Team, providing guidance and direction on all aspects of the Installation and commissioning project process
• Working closely with the site management team, BAA, Principal Contractors, suppliers & other project teams to prevent accidents and incidents, drive compliance & continual improvement for the project
• Ensure safe working and the reputation of the company is maintained on-site
• Strong Leadership
• Excellent Communicator on all levels within the organisation
