Accounts Payable Clerk
Salary up to £23,000 depending on experience

Based in South Harrow for approximately 4 weeks then moving to Hayes August 2017.

We are delighted to be working with a long established and reputable Pharmaceutical Company who is looking for 2 Accounts Payable Clerks to join their accounts department.

The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years commercial experience having worked within an organisation on the Purchase ledger and had exposure and working relationships with different aspects of the business.

Your job role will involve:
Inputting suppliers invoices/credit noted on the system via the purchase order
Resolving queries between purchase orders and the suppliers invoice
Paying suppliers by cheques and transfer
Setting up new suppliers, credit checks, validating VAT numbers
Submitting Intrastats for EC purchases to HMRC monthly
Reconcile and file bank statements (multi-currency)
Checking nominal ledger codes are correct

This is a role for someone who has the ability to deal with a high volume of invoices in a fast and accurate way, have great attention to detail, the ability to multitask and have good mathematical skills.

My client expects someone who has effective communications skills, the ability to pick up and learn new systems and processes quickly, someone who has tenacity and flexibility.
