Finance Manager required for a leading, rapidly expanding retail business. Sitting in the financial accounting team, your main focus will be managing all aspect of the order to cash process whilst partnering with Finance Systems, IT & Customer Care.

The Role:

  • Responsible for all cash and customer financial postings to ensure all entries are reported in line with IFRS accounting standards
  • Accountable for timely, accurate and detailed bank account, customer deposit, gift vouchers, gift card and transaction cost accrual balance sheet reconciliations
  • Responsible for the implementation of the new bank reconciliation system and managing the training requirements of the cash team, including prioritising and addressing the variances identified
  • Working with the Finance Systems, IT Payments Platform and Customer Care teams to resolve any differences identified
  • Responsible for the continued improvement, development and maintenance of the Order to Cash processes
  • Manage and review all transaction and chargeback costs and accruals to ensure complete and accurate costs are included in the accounts
  • Responsible for the review of foreign currency retranslations of month end web deposits and cash balances
  • Develop a more efficient, automated process with the Accounts Payable and Treasury teams for employee credit cards
  • Ensure appropriate and robust financial control on all order and cash related areas
  • Review and challenge of robust and accurate balance sheet reconciliations to an auditable standard
  • Assist in the delivery of interim and year-end audit information for external auditors as well as ad hoc internal audits as required
  • Lead the Order to Cash team to deliver objectives goals, including excellent stakeholder management with various business units

Who We're Looking For:

  • Experienced order to cash accountant - preferably qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Previous retail experience - preferably online
  • Understanding of IFRS accounting standards and practical application
  • Experience of carrying out or providing information for external and internal audits
  • Experience of leading teams
