My client are looking for a Design Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The client will need you to use your digital and graphic design skills to show plans and marketing material in the best light. You will also be required to provide support to the Showroom Manager in day to day tasks when needed.


Floor Plans - Supplying appropriate 2D/3D digital design schemes

Competitor Research - Keeping up to date with competitor Research with regards to New product launches, exciting projects etc.

Marketing Material - Put together Invitations and poster designs for various events within the London Showroom and across the UK and Ireland to a high standard as directed.

Editing - Edit and touch up internal photography and put imagery and text together ready for internal and external presentations when required.

Preparing for Internal & External Meetings/presentations - Using SAP order/prepare all sampling and other props in advance for Design presentations.

Bespoke Products - Be responsible for the presentation of Bespoke Products, making sure that they are sent to the client in the correct way. Log all designs digitally and physically as per the current standard.

Printing - Arrange all external printing for showroom marketing and design works. Work directly with supplier to maintain good relationships.

Showroom - Support the smooth running of the Showroom by dealing with incoming calls and face to face customer enquiries when needed. Have extensive knowledge of all products on offer.

Job Specifications
Design Degree (or equivalent) Preferred

Minimum 1-year experience within a similar role (Graphics, Interiors) working with computers and appropriate software
Previous customer service experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong skills in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Indesign)
Skills in Sketch Up and Illustrator is preferred
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Possess a thorough, organized and detail-oriented approach to work
Able to be flexible in position, with a hands-on approach
Ability to maintain accurate and complete project records
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
Multi-task and complete work assignments within deadlines
Research Skills
