Community Fundraising Assistant

Then we have a terrific Community Fundraising role that is perfect for you!
We are working with an inspirational Bristol-based charity, supporting children and their families at some of the toughest and most difficult times in their lives. The Fundraising Team is expanding and looking to recruit a Community Fundraising Assistant to support the Senior Community Fundraiser with a growing portfolio of volunteer and events fundraising.
We are looking for someone with exceptional people skills; someone with warmth, compassion and fantastic communication skills. You will need to quickly build rapport with people and have the ability to develop relationships into meaningful, lasting support for the charity. Strong time management and organisational skills are also really essential for this role.
This is a varied Community Fundraising opportunity working with volunteers, community groups, schools and supporting the delivery of in-house, home-grown mass participation events. We are looking for a positive self-starter willing to roll up their sleeves and throw themselves whole-heartedly into this brilliant job! It would therefore suit either an experienced Community Fundraiser looking to work for a growing children's charity, or someone from the corporate world looking for a bit more job satisfaction and their first step into professional fundraising.
