We are looking for an Export Sales Administrator to assist the Retail Sales Department of a company based just outside Newmarket with administration tasks, from receipt of orders through to delivery.


Ensure all customer queries are responded to by telephone, email, or in writing, in a professional, helpful and timely manner
To be primary cover for the Export Sales Executive during absence
To acquire import permits if applicable, chasing these up when required and keeping other departments informed of progress
Setting up new customers onto Oracle system
Sales order entry
Collating shipping documentation as required by the Sales Admin Manager
To be responsible for export invoicing including checking discounts, VAT rates, and customer details for accuracy
Liaising with Finance regarding customer orders on hold, chasing pro forma payments and taking action as required
To assist the Export Sales Executive in co-ordinating other business areas such as Technical, Marketing and Logistics to ensure smooth end to end delivery, feeding back information to customers and escalating to the Sales Admin Manager as required
