For this position as Service Manager , you will be responsible for managing two teams of Support Workers who work alongside adults who have a learning disability and who have challenging behaviour(s). Your responsibilities will range from liaising with health professionals and managing medication to coordinating activities, supervising and appraising your staff team and the management of strict financial budgets. You will be provided with weekly office hours, however, you will also be expected to work alongside your staff team supporting adults with a learning disability. You will report to the Registered Manager team.

You must have substantial experience as a supported living service manager, experience of adults with a Learning Disability and possess an NVQ/Diploma level 3 or above in Health and Social Care. Qualifications in other areas of Health & Social Care will be considered. Further training will be provided for this role.

You must be able to work on a flexible rota system and conduct regular on-call duties. A valid and full driver’s licence is essential for this position. You will be expected to complete some weekend and sleep-in duties as part of the role to ensure quality assurance.
