Lloyd Recruitment Services has an exciting job opportunity for an experienced event Marketing Manager who has proven skills and experience managing the marketing activities and projects for a portfolio of large scale events. The Marketing Manager role is working for a very well established and reputable events company based in the Twickenham area.

Duties and responsibilities will included within the Marketing Manager role:

Development of marketing concepts, targets, strategies and marketing mix (channels) including features
Coordinate and ensure the 360° communications plan is implemented, monitor KPI’s and drafts reports for line management, controls marketing budget
Being charge of the promotion of marketing objectives and developing industry knowledge: the planning, controlling and realization of all marketing activities and (if applicable) make sure the whole marketing team gets there: mentor, train, coach etc.
Managing data development, all statistical analysis, conferences management, registration, side events and of the branding of the shows
Controlling of the marketing budget and schedule
Manage Agencies (including PR), Associations, Sector organizations, Media partners, Customers (exhibitors & visitors), Speakers and Consultants
Perform constantly above set objectives (visitors, exhibitors, conference attendees, keynote speakers)
Increase visitor numbers by 20% year on year
Identify and meet key stakeholders in the market including key media partners, associations and accounts
Present a first formal SWOT action plan on events served

Skills and experience required for the job:

Proven experience working in a similar Marketing Manager role - at least 2/3 years in marketing, among which 2 years in events marketing ideally exhibitions or large scale conferences
Big picture thinking, adaptability, resilience, excellent coaching, communication, presentation and organisational skills
Natural authority, experience in leading people, excellent capacity to interact with all levels
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
