Global Unified Telecommunications / Communications Services Provider that offers a comprehensive range of wireless fixed-line telecommunications and ICT communication solutions and services to consumer, business and government users.


Job Purpose:
Technical Sales Support

Job Description:
1. Provide the Sales Teams with detailed, technical support throughout the sales cycle.
2. Define prospects’ technical and commercial requirements, and based on expert understanding of the Company’s current and potential capabilities, competitors’ capabilities and customers’ value to the Company, champion the support, design and sale of those capabilities to the customer
3. Interface with other technical support organization to develop customer solution designs according to the Company’s policies and meeting customer business requirements
4. Present the Company’s general capabilities and customized solutions to customers
5. Drive support for customized solutions within the Company’s organization
6. Act as centre of technical expertise for the Company’s global sales concerning regional service flavors and competitive offering. Gather knowledge about Local suppliers, partners, competitors and interface with the Company’s Product Management to leverage the information

Knowledge & Skills:
1. Experience in a customer facing technical sales and/or consultancy role, with the ability to interact and present to customers up to the highest levels
2. Broad telecom technical knowledge, with depth technical and commercial knowledge in (some of) the converged solutions area:
a. Global WAN solutions including MPLS and related QoS/CoS offering
b. Traditional Voice and VoIP solutions (SIP-Trunking, Managed IP Telephony , Unified Communication), including migration opportunities and issues
c. Cloud based solutions, including SDN and SD-WAN
d. Security and UTM solutions
e. Wireless/wireline convergence solutions
f. Key customer applications deployment (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Citrix) and their impact on WANs
3. First-hand experience in the enterprise sector for the global IT strategy definition, for the supplier selection and for the deployment of global converged solutions
4. Strong technical writing skills
5. Strong public speaking / presentation skills
6. Strong leadership skills / initiator of projects
7. Strong team orientation
8. Strong listener

Educational Qualifications:
1. University degree or equivalent experience.
2. Local language and English language mandatory, other languages a plus.

Additional Information:
1. At least 5 years experiences in a sales support role in a global telecoms company
2. Strong contacts in industry, including vendors and customers
3. The successful candidate should have a flexible approach to work.
4. Independent, self-starter

It is anticipated that the base salary for the successful candidate who meets all of the requirements will be IRO £70k + 20% annual performance bonus (variable) but upwards from £60k minimum. The Company offers a first-class benefits package
