I am currently working with a new exciting small family business originally from London. This brand eventually evolved to become the best known supplier to some of the finest auto-mobile companies in the world. This brand is the backbone of British history and comes with a wealth of rich heritage. The brand has now evolved to creating some of the most luxurious tailoring, knitwear and leather goods.

About You
The brand are looking for someone who can join this small family run business to develop the wholesale and merchandising business. You will be working closely with the creative director and the design team. The kind of skills the brand are looking for is organised thinker, innovative and a problem solver along with being quick thinking and being able to easily make decisions. Alongside your strategic, commercial and analytical skills you will be able to express creativity and innovation through your hard work. An ambassador to the brand you will lead by example and be able to coach and delegate when required. You will remain professional whilst showing your passion for your work. Your flexible and stylish nature will allow you to work towards tight deadlines.

About the role

• Assist the Production and Warehouse teams coordinating global needs with the sales teams (Retail and Wholesale)
• Coordinate the development and launch of new product functions and categories while ensuring the success of existing ranges
• Execute and evolve strategic brand and company objectives
• Participate in developing a clear strategy of collection positioning including, range planning, global market needs, functionality, quality, prices and financial margin targets
• Reinforce existing ranges, enhancing existing strength of the brand and improving weak areas
• Research core competitors, introduce new functions and product categories to increase brand appeal, profitability, distribution range while increasing financial margin targets
• Work closely with Distribution channels to ensure global product needs in different geographical regions are met in line with core competitors in each region
• Develop and manage industrial cost and collection global pricing strategy to achieve target margins stipulated by brand strategy and financial objectives
Ensure the professional running of end to end processes of the department including order taking, administrative, logistics and financial matters
• Manage relationships with new and existing buyers throughout the season
• Present new collections to premium retail buyers both in London and internationally (organise showroom, schedule and manage appointments, liaise with buyers and take orders)
• Work alongside with the Production Manager to oversee customer orders, deliveries and shipments, ensuring they are fulfilled correctly and on time
• Monitor customers’ stock levels, sell through and performance and quickly act on information to place reorders, make possible stock rotations or other sales driving activities
• Develop and work towards budgets and sales target in agreement with the directors of the company to ensure profitable growth
• Extract sales reports from the system
• Present sales reports and findings to the team on a regular basis
• Prepare and present sales analysis and reports, with style information that can be useful to merchandising and design teams to forecast development and consumer behaviour
• Research new markets and prospective clients and together with Head of Operations develop and implement wholesale growth strategies
